- Compaction for all types of sand, gravel and soils.
- Ideal for base preparations in the construction of roads, parking lots, sidewalks, patios, etc.
- Also suited for the compaction of asphalt surfaces.

- Only use in a well ventilated areas.
- Ensure all safety components are installed on the unit (i.e. reversing brake and hand brake).
- Not to be used on uneven surfaces or grades.
- Proper foot wear and hearing protection is a must.
- Never put thumbs around crank when starting.
- Never refuel machine while it is running or it is hot.

Starting Procedure:
- Turn the decompression valve so that the larger "ear" of the valve is pointing out towards you.
- Open the throttle completely.
- Ensure that the drive is in neutral and the hand brake is set.
- Pull the injector valve up if the engine is cold.
- Place the crank in the proper location and crank vigorously counter-clockwise.
- If unit has electric start, turn the key.
- Once the engine starts the crank will fall out.

Compacting:
- Forward and reverse are controlled by the drive lever on the handle.
- The vibratory action is actuated by pulling back on the vibe lever.

Engine will not start
- Ensure that there is fuel in the tank.
- Ensure that all starting procedures have been followed.
- If ambient temperature is below 0 C, start up oil may have to be added.
- If electric start is not working, the crank may have to be employed.
