- Used to generate power to run anything electrical.
- Generally used on construction sites as primary power.
- Due to size, or as back-up power.
- Do not refuel while the tool is running.
- Always be sure that electrical tool you are using does not draw more power than the generator can provide.
- Never transport the generator while it is running.
- Powered by Hatz diesel motors.
- 30gal. diesel tank runs for aprox. 12hrs to dry.
- Diesel generators should never be run dry.
- Total power produced is 80amps at 110V, 50amps at 240V.
- 240V power is single phase power only.
- Make sure that diesel is full.
- Turn key to pre-heat setting - this pre-heats the coils where the diesel ignites - easier starting.
- Turn throttle switch to full.
- Wait until coil light comes on fully and then turn key fully.
- Once unit is running, plug in necessary equipment that requires power.
- Units can supply power to the fuse panel of a building, only wired by certified electrician.
- For full operating instructions, please refer to the operators manual.
- If outside temperatures fall well below zero, units have difficulty starting.
- If units are left outside at that point, they should be kept reasonably sheltered and should try to be heated by radiant heat (not an open flame).
- If units are running but not producing power, check the fuses and the ground fault interrupters and reset if necessary.
