Brace, 7′ X 4′

Find a Store
- Used to hold the scaffolding frames in a fixed position.
- Used to give a scaffolding section length of 7'.
- This brace is used for frames with 4' spacing from top connection (drop lock) of frame to the bottom connection of frame.
- Make sure all the components you are going to use are in good condition, do not use any damaged, bent or broken pieces.
- Make sure your scaffolding tower is level in order for braces to fit in with ease.
- Do not climb the braces when in place.
- Climb the scaffolding safely with a 3 point contact on the scaffolding frames.
- Wear gloves, hard hat and safety boots when erecting the scaffolding.
- Hot dipped galvanized cross brace weight of 11lbs.
- Center pivoted, tubular steel.
- Have at least two people to set up the scaffolding.
- Unfold the brace to form the shape of an "X".
- Lift the drop lock on the scaffolding frame and insert the brace.
- Lower the drop lock to secure the brace to the frame.
- When starting your scaffolding base be sure it is 100% level.
- For full operating instructions, please refer to the operators manual.
- If you can not connect other components to the frames because they do not fit, be sure the scaffold tower is level and square.
- If the components do not connect, check for possible defects such as dirt, bends, weak welds, crushed ends etc.
- If tower is not sturdy add outriggers/stabilizer's for additional support or use a larger sized frame, be sure you meet the 3 to 1 rule.
