Find a Store
- Used on hard surfaces to make scaffold tower mobile.
- Insert Casters into frames before you begin setting up your scaffolding tower, to avoid heavy lifting.
- Ensure that the braking devices on each caster are locked into the "on" position during assembly.
- Be sure each scaffold caster is secured with the use of a scaffold safety pin (AKA Pigtail).
- Make sure all the components you are going to use are in good condition, do not use any damaged, bent or broken pieces.
- Make sure your scaffolding tower is on level ground.
- Wear gloves, hard hat and safety boots when erecting the scaffolding.
- Solid rubber tires with hot dipped galvanized stem.
- Brake locks and swivel.
- 4 spoked wheel.
- Have at least two people to set up the scaffolding.
- When starting your scaffolding base be sure it is 100% level.
- Insert Castors into the bottom of frames before you begin setting up your scaffolding tower with the brake locks in place.
- Insert scaffold pin into Castor securing it to the frame.
- For full operating instructions, please refer to the operators manual.
- If the components do not connect, check for possible defects such as dirt, bends, weak welds, crushed ends etc.
- If you cannot insert the scaffolding pin (AKA pigtail) make sure the holes on the frames are even with the holes in the Castor.
