- Attach discharge hose to pump.
- Place the pump in the deepest area of water.
- Place discharge hose in an area where drainage of water is permissible.
- Plug the pump in and let it run until all the water has been pumped from the respective place.
- Once all the water has been pumped unplug the pump and detach the hose.
