- This tool is used for grinding down larger sized tree stumps to ground level.
- The use of safety glasses, gloves & hearing protection is required.
- Do not use the tool when other people or pets are in the work area.
- Dress appropriately- no short sleeves, shorts or loose fitting clothing.
- Allow the engine to cool down before refueling.
- Use caution when grinding the bottom portion of the stump as the cutting chain may contact the soil.

- Push the choke switch to the cold start position.
- Turn the stop switch on.
- Pull the recoil rope until you hear the engine roll over.
- Put the choke in the off position.
- Pull the recoil rope until the machine starts.
- Lower the cutting wheel on to the stump and engage the drive clutch.
- Once the wheel reaches full speed, lower it onto the tree stump and grind it down with a left to right sweeping motion.

The tool is not starting
- Check the fuel level.
- Be sure the choke is pulled out.
- Be sure the on/off switch is in the on position.
- If unit is flooded, pull recoil several times with the choke off and throttle trigger fully depressed until engine starts.
