- Place the cable in the drain by hand and push it in as far as you can.
- Leave 6" of cable between the super-vee and the toilet.
- Pull the gripe shield back.
- Squeeze the trigger and move the super-vee toward the drain opening.
- Do not force the cable.
- Repeat the procedure until you have cleared the drain from the clog.
- Reverse the procedure to pull the cable out of the drain.
