- Used to clean, texture or roughen concrete or asphalt surfaces.
- Ideal for sidewalk repair, coating removal, floor preparation or cleaning, creating non-slip surfaces, traffic line removal, etc.
- Always wear the proper safety clothing while operating this machine (dust mask, safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses).
- Ensure that all the guards and safety devices are in place and are in working order.
- Make sure that the drum (cage) is installed properly.
- Never refuel engine while it is running or when it is hot.
- Make sure engine is off changing or checking drum.
- Always use in a well ventilated area.
- Never drop cutters down abruptly.

- Install proper drum (cage) for the job.
- Raise the cutter drum up fully using the handwheel on the upper handle.
- Hook up vacuum hose if needed.
- Turn the "ON/OFF" switch to the "ON" position.
- Slide the choke to the closed position.
- Ensure the fuel valve is on.
- Place the throttle 1/2 open.
- Pull the starter rope.
- When the engine starts, slide the choke to the open position.
- Open the throttle completely.
- Rock machine back and forth and slowly lower cutters down using the handwheel.
- Once the cutters make contact with the surface move unit forward slowly.
- At the end of each run, raise unit up using the handwheel.
- Once finished, raise cutters then idle engine down and push in the red stop button on the upper handle.

Unit hops/jumps with a lot of vibration
- The cutter drum may be lowered to far, raise the drum with the dial.

Unit will not start
- Check fuel level.
- Ensure all starting procedures have been followed (i.e. choke on, switch on, etc.).
- Unit may be flooded, let sit for 10 minutes then try starting again.
- Check the oil level.
